Throughout each year, Vaughan Baptist Church supports our friends at Kennedy Home in Kinston, the site of eastern North Carolina's Baptist Children's Home. 

• April is Food Round-Up Month. Members collect food and supplies and purchase gift cards requested by BCHNC.
• Each May, members participate in Friends of the Children, a workday at Kennedy Home. Chores include indoor and outdoor cleaning of group homes and landscaping.
• This year VBC is participating in a Vacation Bible School project to collect change for BCHNC. Change for Change, a mission project of the Wednesday Night Children's and Adult Bible Studies, runs through June 26.
• An ongoing project is collecting household items, toys, and clothing in good repair for the residents and staff of Kennedy Home.
